God's love, his Law or Commandments, lasts forever. The love of his people, their obedience to these commandments, is volatile, it flies away. For the love of these people, who think of themselves as God's, is like the early morning mist. When the sun comes out (the tribulation), it crumbles like snow crumbles in the heat.

A friend loves all the time. If you have the Master of masters, Lord of lords and King of kings as your friend, never stop loving him.

Because by loving him, that is, by keeping his commandments, you will also be loved by him. For He does not love unconditionally as many claim; for He says through Solomon that He loves those who love Him. Proverbs 8:17. Part one.
