Happy belated Easter
The author questions the celebration of Easter and its relevance for Christians. They refer to Isaiah and argue that the modern celebration of Passover, as well as the inclusion of symbols such as the Easter egg, go against the true meaning of the holiday. The author suggests that the original Passover was for the people of Israel and pointed to Jesus as the lamb of God. The Passover has since been replaced by the Lord's Supper and therefore, the celebration of Passover and the use of Easter eggs are seen as misguided and potentially sinful. The author also draws a parallel to the story of the King of Midian leading the people of Israel into sin. They argue that the celebration of Easter leads believers astray and refers to the book of Revelation as evidence of their claim.
