Stop, I want to go down
This is a common expression in human circles, due to the state of incoherence in our behavior. But is it possible to get down? Let's see.
That's what I heard from a citizen who was criticizing the human situation in the world this week. And I asked him: Is that possible? And I added: there's only one place to go down, to the ground (grave).
Many are already preferring this, out of desperation because of the conflicts and anguish that have come upon many, precisely because of their inbred relatives, especially children and grandchildren. The latter want to eliminate their parents in order to gain possession of inheritances.
And this to satisfy not basic needs, but petty desires, mainly to get pleasure from drug use.
Those who don't believe in the Bible should have a little patience and take a look at some of its texts, such as what the Holy Spirit tells Paul would happen at the end of time, see: "But know this: in the last days hard times will come, for men will be selfish, greedy, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, irreverent, unruly, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, cruel, enemies of good, traitors, bold, brazen, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. Flee also from these. II Tim. 3:1 to 5.
No book produced before the Bible speaks of this, making predictions like these.
And the time will come when men will want to go down into the grave themselves, but death will flee from them. See:
“In those days men will seek death and not find it; they will also have a burning desire to die, but death will flee from them.” Revelation 9:6.
So only by turning to God, with weeping, prayer and fasting, can we escape what is predicted for the time in which we live and what lies ahead.
