The final discourse
At the end of time, there will be men who love themselves, despite the divine order in universal law that commands us to love God above all things.
There are countless self-proclaimed Christians who contradict Jesus' words, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me,” and twist His words, creating fallacious arguments and denying the constitutional basis He left for His people.
Although no one can surpass the greatest of all, such men arrogate to themselves the right to make pompous speeches about the reasons why they do not keep God's laws. As the Holy Spirit said through John, many antichrists have gone out into the world. These, then, are such antichrists.
Now, as we have already shown in the text we wrote and named “Who is Christ,” this is the word of God, which in short is His law.
As the Holy Spirit says through the apostle James, "...he who said, ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ also said, 'You shall not murder. Now if you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.“ James 2:11.
”.
And he says through John that “sin is the transgression of the law.” 1 John 3:4. Now, what law is the Holy Spirit speaking of through John? There is no doubt that he is referring to the Law of God, the Ten Commandments. For the same spirit through James says that “if anyone keeps the whole law but stumbles in one point, he becomes guilty of all.” James 2:10.
The greatest sage who ever lived was conclusive and summarized his entire speech as follows: “Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of every man.” Ecclesiastes 12:13.
Therefore, deny yourself, take this duty upon yourself as well, since no one is exempt from this obligation left to all by God Himself.
