Where does the idea come from that everyone is a child of God? That He created you? That Jesus' death grants salvation to all? That He loves everyone?
These and other thoughts are common and manifest among people who consider themselves Christians. But what is the basis for these statements? Is there any text left by God through any prophet that affirms this?
As we have repeatedly stated, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. And for someone to be grafted into the true vine, Jesus, it is necessary to repent and be converted. That is, to change one's way of life, behavior, and thinking, having one's heart transformed. And this can only be done by accepting the remedy that heals sin, cleanses the stain, and regenerates man. And that remedy is the law of God.
But although this remedy is not difficult, as some claim, for the Holy Spirit says that God's commandments are not burdensome, it must be taken by those who recognize themselves as sinners and in need of God's grace. No one can take this remedy for another. 1 John 5:3.
Since God's grace reigns through righteousness, and this is God's law or commandments, it must not be rejected. For death reigned because of sin. So, in order for it not to continue reigning over someone, it is necessary for that person to do as Jesus did, who committed no sin and no deceit was found on his lips. Romans 5:21.
The death of Jesus brought salvation, but it is necessary to accept this salvation, which is the law of God. For without this, it is impossible to have regeneration, that is, new birth. This is implied in the text that says: “If you know that he is righteous, recognize also that everyone WHO PRACTICES RIGHTEOUSNESS IS BORN OF GOD.” 1 John 2:29.
The fact that someone has not had the merit to be saved does not mean that they do not have to earn it. Because the merits of Christ do not have the understanding that they lend him. For Christ is the Word of God, His law. Which corresponds to His legal person. Therefore, those who do not know Christ will receive the “I do not know you” at His coming. Because knowing God and Jesus translates into obedience to Their commandments. 1 John 2:3.
The claim that God’s love is unconditional is nonsense, a fallacy, a narrative. For He states that He “loves those who love Him.” Proverbs 8:17. And He says that His love is His commandments. John 15:9 and 10.
Therefore, take the medicine that cures sin, regenerates man, and makes him righteous as God is righteous. I John 3:7.
