The Sower went out to sow the seed
Since each of us gives what we have and what we have received from others, we need to know what we are sowing and from whom we have received it. And we must sow with the certainty of a reward—or a harvest.
Well, just as those who sow do so in the hope of reaping, we must sow high-quality seed—selected, fresh, from a reputable supplier—and we must do so at the right time for it to be sown into the ground; otherwise, the harvest may be thwarted.
And since we are speaking of sowing in the spiritual realm—even while drawing a parallel with the natural world—we need to know what seed we should sow. For the Master of the Christians said: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15.
However, many who have gone out to sow do not know what seed they should sow, and although they say they are preaching the gospel, they do not know what it means.
Thus, instead of sowing the true seed—the Word of God—they sow flowers, recipes, philosophy, human rules, Bible quizzes, promises of blessings, deceptions, and so on.
So let’s find out what the true seed is. Jesus said: The seed is the word of God, which is the Truth, which is His law, and is found in Exodus 20:2–17—namely, the Ten Commandments. This is the true gospel, the gospel of our salvation, which is also called “the good news,” “the good,” “peace,” as well as seventeen other names scattered throughout the Bible. I suggest reading the work we wrote titled “The Gospel for All,” published on recantodasletras, by the author oliprest.
Whoever does not sow the Truth does not sow as the Master commanded; thus, they will not receive the reward promised to those who have been entrusted with proclaiming the virtues of the One who called us out of darkness into His light. Psalm 119:105.
To proclaim recipes, philosophy, human rules, and matters within the human realm—that is the task of the children of men. The children of God have been called to a far nobler task: to proclaim the Kingdom of Heaven and to freely give what they have freely received—namely, the knowledge of God, which translates into obedience to His commandments.
Therefore, sow the Truth, righteousness, and love—which are the true Word of God, namely, the Ten Commandments. And leave the lesser tasks to those who are chosen for that purpose. Ps. 119:142 (last part); 119:172 (last part); John 15:9–10; 1 John 5:3.
